Today marks the 15th anniversary of Tricia Mountain working for Rowland, Mountain and Associates. With over 15 years spent in the recruiting industry, one can say that Tricia Mountain is an expert. As a fashionable woman, Tricia has her staples that she dons daily: a smile and optimism. She grew up in the Midwest, Kansas, the third of four children and daughter to dairy and wheat farmers. Beyond her upbringing, Tricia realized that something was missing from her professional life after she started working in an administrative position at Enterprise (a  job that she was placed in by a temp recruiter). Over the course of one weekend, Tricia quit her job at Enterprise and was hired as a receptionist at the same temp recruiting agency that placed her in her administrative position. After Tricia was hired at the temp recruiting agency, she worked her way up the corporate ladder, and was managing 50 people, and had also realized that she was “making a difference in the lives of people by helping them find jobs.”
Her career has been a success because of her persistence and passion in her job as well as the people she works with. “I’m fortunate to be in a career I love; I really love that I come in to work and am surrounded by my family and friends.”
Career-wise, Tricia has maintained her passion in the recruiting industry because of its versatility. “I am lucky to never experience the same day twice.”
A piece of advice that she would give to herself when she first became a recruiter years ago is: “consistent effort brings consistent results.”
Today, Tricia continues to light up the office with her optimism and cheery demeanor, and speaking for the RMA staff, we’re looking forward to the next 15 years! Congratulations, Tricia!
