Our client is the #1 distributor for their fluid power manufacturing supplier- a global manufacturer in the industry. They are actively seeking a Territory Manager for their greater Grand Rapids area territory. The incumbent Territory Manager will have responsibility for cold calling purchasing/engineering contacts within power generation/municipality OEM and MRO accounts, selling fluid power products (gaskets, connectors, hydraulic motors, valves, etc), autonomously developing a greenfield territory, and working in collaboration with partner companies to identify and secure new accounts. Ideal candidates will possess professional/personal relationships established in Grand Rapids, Michigan; 5+ years sales experience in an industrial environment (fluid power industry preferred); a technical college degree is preferred; fluid power society certification a PLUS; and have verifiable work and education experience.
