In an exciting new role as a manager, it is important to ease your way into a position to gain respect and cooperation from your staff. Here are the top 10 ways to achieve this, for a successful experience as a new manager!
1. Set specific goals.
2. set boundaries for what you employees should not be doing with their time.
3. Set clear standards for your team.
4. Look for trouble- If you have suspicions, ask about them!
5. Be straight forward, no sugarcoating!
6. Be honest with yourself in what works and what does not.
7.  Keep your employees educated in what they can improve on.
8. Be aware that you will need to fire people.
