Our client is a publicly traded multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 global distributor of electrical, industrial, communications, maintenance-repair-operating (MRO) and OEM equipment and supplies, construction materials, and advanced supply chain management and services. They are a large company with over 5,000 employees and over 100,000 customers worldwide. They are seeking an Integrated Supply Sourcing Director for the New York location.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a company whose budget is projected to almost double in revenue in 4 years through acquisitions and strategic initiatives.

This Integrated Supply Sourcing Manager will develop, train, and manage suppliers to support the Integrated Supply program for all locations. They will lead a small sourcing team for US and other parts of the world to discover potential suppliers and negotiate supplier agreements. The Manager will establish a comprehensive plan for sourcing MRO commodities nationally and internationally.

Candidates Must Possess

Bachelor’s Degree (B.S/B.A)

Purchasing Certificate (Such as C.P.M)

7+ years of related experience managing a global sourcing team for maintenance, repairs and operation materials

Industrial Distribution Experience with Major Distributor (Preferred)

Strong Verbal, Written, Analytical, Persuasion and Interpersonal Skills

Strong Processing Skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
