What is your favorite thing about working for RMA?  Rowland Mountain & Associates is an extremely supportive environment.  Business is conducted professionally, but at the end of the day everyone here is like a family.  I can honestly say I care about everyone I work with.  With that support, I feel the transition between college and my career has been successful, and RMA welcomes my fresh ideas.

What have you gained from working at RMA?  This position is my first “corporate world” experience, and I have learned countless things.  First and foremost, I have had a great experience being able to fully develop my marketing projects from start to finish single-handedly (with feedback, of course).  This has given me great confidence in my marketing abilities, and I know that will translate to the rest of my career.  I have also gained a much greater understanding of social media, as I am in charge of these accounts, and ways to reach out to our market be of value to them.

What have you learned about the recruiting world by working for RMA?  I have learned recruiting is a challenging but rewarding profession.  All of my coworkers actually care about their candidates and clients and don’t view them as a “dollar sign” as can be the perception of some recruiters.  I have just began some recruiting myself, so I am learning how to quickly digest a resume or LinkedIn profile and qualify if a person would be a good fit for a position. 

What do you like to do in your free time?  I ride and compete horses when I can, enjoy spending time with my friends, and love UGA football! 

Interesting/fun fact about yourself: I took my first steps as a baby on a moving train.
