Russell D. Mountain, CPC

Russ D. Mountain studied engineering while attending Southern Tech in Marietta, Georgia. He began his professional career with General Motors Corporation in 1976. He worked 6 years for GM, gaining large-scale manufacturing and supervision experience in a union environment.

He was recruited in 1982 to Acuity Brand’s Lithonia Lighting in Conyers, GA as a production line supervisor of 36  I.B.E.W.  union assembly workers.  In his third year Russ was promoted to production superintendent responsible for a division of 150 manufacturing people.  From that role he moved into the marketing department as a national product manager supporting Acuity’s product offerings to Independent Reps and Electrical Distributors across the country. Russ left Lithonia Lighting in December of 1987 and founded Rowland Mountain and Associates.

Over the past 22 years Rowland Mountain and Associates has become an industry leader in sales and marketing recruiting. The Atlanta Business Chronicle has twice named Rowland Mountain and Associates as one of the top 10 Executive Search firms in Atlanta.

In 1999 Russ earned his C.P.C. recognition by the National Association of Personnel Services and was elected to the Board of Directors for the Georgia Association of Personnel Services. He represented the Georgia State Association as the Legislative Director on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. in 2000. He has presided 4 years in the executive rotation of the board where he has served as the V.P. of membership, V.P. of programs and as president in 2004 and 2005. Russ is one of only three twice elected presidents of the state association. He is the only president to serve back to back terms in the 40 year history of the organization. Under his leadership in 2005, the Georgia Association received the National Presidents Award from the National Association of Personnel Services in recognition of the association’s leadership, expertise and commitment to the staffing profession.

Tricia A. Mountain, CPC

Tricia A. Mountain joined Rowland Mountain & Associates as Vice President in 1998. Her strengths in organizational development have helped RMA clients to strategically recruit and hire top talent from across the United States and Canada.

Tricia has proven her dedication to professional excellence with her numerous designations and awards. She earned a place in the Million Dollar Hall of Fame in 2004. She received the RMA “Outstanding Achievement Award” in 1999 and was recognized as a “Top Producer” by the Georgia Association of Personnel Services in 1999, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Tricia earned her Certified Personnel Consultant designation through the National Association of Personnel Services in 1999.

In 1989, Tricia began her career in professional placement at NPS of Atlanta, a temporary staffing agency. In just eight years, she rose through the ranks from recruiter to manager, and ultimately to vice president and general manager. Tricia presided over eight branch offices, 50 permanent employees and more than $18 million dollars in sales. Under her leadership, NPS was recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the top 10 fastest-growing small businesses in Atlanta in 1996.
